Sky Showdown

The first game I programmed all on my own. Made for my Coding Class.

"Sky Showdown" is a 2D action-platforming game where the player takes control of Roger Nelson, a violent policeman, who must cross through different rooftops fighting terrorists. The goal is to reach the end of each level and fight its bosses. The game is strongly influenced by 80's and 90's action movies such as: "Die Hard", "The Terminator", "Lethal Weapon", "Showdown in Little Tokyo", to name a few, and newer ones such as: "John Wick".

Controls:

• Arrow Keys to move
• Space Bar to jump
• Z to shoot
• Left Shift to dash
  
• Jump after dash to jump higher
• Down Arrow when jumping higher to fall faster
